Research Design and Biostatistics
The Research Design and Biostatistics Program of the Miami CTSI advises, educates, and trains researchers in the design and analysis of clinical translational research studies and develops new methods for data analysis.
The program offers expert consultation and research support through the Biostatistics Collaboration and Consulting Core and educational opportunities through workshops, roundtables and graduate programs to train the next generation of clinical researchers and biostatistical scientists.
The main goals of the program are to:
- Establish University-wide Center for Statistical Sciences.
- Provide research design and biostatistics support through the BCCC.
- Develop new biostatistical methods to move translational research forward.
- Offer educational programs to improve quality and quantity of research.
